Richard R: I have felt this way about Jack Camper for 20 years. He is a good old boy who is more interested in getting along instead of fighting for the business community.

Donna S: I have visited the chamber and chose not to join. Because they don't support business.

James D: Good Luck

Dan S: I've done too much in the way of activism and politics to be relegated to phone banks and such. I can, if you need it, speak well to any size group or do media appearances. I have over 40 years experience in these things, a rare skill set. Additionally, I'm a professional level event planner. If you need help in these matters, my phone is above, along with my email.

Nick L: We operate out of Oro Valley, but do most of our business within Tucson. In this economic climate business need an upper hand

Charles M: Right on. I like most thinking business owners know the public sector exists only because of our support and the fact that we pay taxes from profits. I will be glad to help anyway I am able to. However, I can't afford to join the Chamber, as I am already paying nearly $1,000 annually on memberships with other groups more directly related to my industry.

James C: This is great, and about time. I have a suggestion, although I imagine all of you have already been considering this. I think that we need small business owners running for City Council and County Supervisor seats.

Williams T: I would like to see Tucson become more business friendly. I support small businesses in town and if they prosper, so does my business.

Chuck: About Time!

Stacey F: i would like to attend your next meeting. i lease office space in the chase building downtown and believe that any downtown is the heart of an area, the chamber has called me several times to join but i have not for the reasons your group has been formed

Stacey C: i would like to attend your next meeting

Jerry H: This is an excellent idea and well overdue. I talk to restaurant owners every day, many of them struggling to stay in business and I could start spreading the word among them.

Ron: I'd like to know more about who is involved and the strategy to accomplish your mission.

Eric B: I believe you are correct about the Tucson Chamber needing new leadership! But I believe the City and County Governments need new leadership too! We must work to this end!

Clint E: Please take a moment to review the newest posts under the Jack Camper article in the Daily Star. Tucson International Airport employees have done what we can to help your movement. We also benefit from it because Camper and Allin are both deadwood decision makers at the airport. Employees want our airport to be successful and progressive, and we want a CEO who will show us respect. Camper and Allin both need to go

Thank you for all that you have done!

Phil G; Suggest you add a third choice to your question about Chamber membership on the "get involved" web page. In addition to "yes" and "no" you should consider adding "former" which might include a considerable number of businesses.

Dale F: Under Jack Camper's overly long TMCC Chairmanship he has stifled two generations of dynamic leaders by holding on to the role. Many of us have personal experience with the corrupt Camper regime. Ask me mine.

Dave O: Time for some new faces and fresh ideas.

Bill G: Good luck with your efforts. I grew up in Tucson and was appalled at the deteriorating downtown area after returning to Tucson in 1998.

Chris B: I'm interested in helping however I'd like to know more. Please call me

Bill S: I need to talk to someone before I commit to any petition. Please give me a contact number I can call or give me a call.

Roger: We also can make the yard signs if needed, the chamber sucks, starting with there salesman who verbally attacked me last week on the phone. We need a better chamber

Unknown: I used to work at the Tucson Chamber of Commerce. Give me a call or email me and I may be able to help you out further in your cause. Essentially, Jack Camper has to go in order that place to change. Top-down, abusive management at its best...

Terry L: Love what you're doing!!! Giv'em hell!!!

Tami S: Good work ... looking forward to change (and lots of it).

Kelle M: If you are so excited about this venture, why don't you list who is behind it? A shady organization hiding behind a website is what first comes to mind.

Many questions come to mind: Why should I get involved in what you are doing? How will getting rid of the Tucson Chamber help the community? Why call out the Tucson Chamber specifically if you feel there are too many organizations overall? Have you talked to the chamber board and staff about your concerns?

Sam W; It's time to 'blow up' the Metro Chamber and start again. I feel strongly that there needs to be a clean sweep of the entire staff.

Please bring on a professional along the lines of the head of Albuquerque's Chamber.

When does Mr. Kamper's contract expire?
